Applications for Funding from the Department of Health and Social Care’s Recruiting for Potential Fund are now being accepted. It is designed to fund projects that explore different ways to recruit people with the right values from groups who are traditionally ‘under-represented’ in their workforce or who face barriers to employment.
Non-traditional recruitment sources are vital to the long-term stability of the sector but ensuring that non-traditional candidates have the right values is fundamental to its success.
Profiles4Care’s values based recruitment tool does not discriminate against anyone. It assesses people purely on their values and how they match the employers’ own. We see this as a bedrock to any programme of work in the area of non-traditional recruitment and are seeking to work with companies applying for the Fund.
This is a great opportunity to introduce values-based recruitment into your organisation and potentially solve the recruitment and retention issues that are affecting many employers so severely.
Application forms should be completed and returned to Skills for Care by 12pm (midday) on Friday 13 July 2018.
