Are demands on social workers greater now than they have ever been? Do negative stories about social work in the media make your job harder to do?
To understand the working lives, attitudes and outlook of social workers and their managers in the UK, Guardian Jobs and Cafcass have put together the Social Lives survey.
The findings will be compared with the Guardian’s Social Lives Research, conducted in 2008, to build a picture of how the sector has changed over the last five years.
The survey asks professionals for their views on learning and development opportunities, as well as perceptions of the sector. The research aims to provide an insight for employers that can help to improve the working lives of social workers.
Those who complete this short short survey – which should take around 10 minutes – will be entered into a prize draw with a chance to win an iPad2.
